Abstract: This study evaluates the financial efficiency and educational efficacy of "White Box" open-architecture systems against proprietary "Black Box" ecosystems. Findings suggest that open-architecture systems offer deeper mechanical and electronic understanding for secondary education students while reducing acquisition costs.
